A Mastic teen received his sentence today for last year's drunken driving crash that left two dead.

A Riverhead judge sentenced Ryan Foote, 18, to one and a third to four years in prison after he pleaded guilty to several charges, including aggravated vehicular manslaughter. Prosecution was aiming for six to 18 years.

Police say Foote was driving with nearly twice the legal limit of alcohol in his system and had smoked marijuana the night of the accident. Foote lost control of his car, and police say he hit three trees before he and two other passengers were ejected from the car. His two friends, 18-year old James McClease and 17-year-old Rashawn Minter, died at the scene.

The victims' family members say they're hurt and disappointed by the sentence.
