There is new high-tech machinery for Massapequa High School students.
The school’s woodworking class has a new computer-controller cutting machine thanks to a $20,000 technology grant from Optimum Business through its partnership with DonorsChoose.
It helps cut down on time needed to make larger-scale projects.
Optimum Business is the sister company of News 12.
To date, the partnership between Optimum Business and DonorsChoose has helped fund more than $4.5 million in community projects.
