A Suffolk County driver says he was hit in the face by a large rock that was thrown through his window.
News 12 is told a group of teens had been following the man's car on Sunrise Highway from Babylon to Oakdale right before it happened on Friday.
The victim suffered a fractured jaw and eye socket.
Police are investigating the case as an assault. Anyone with information can call Suffolk County Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS.
