A Staten Island man faced a judge Sunday after allegedly threatening to bomb a Nassau County police precinct.
Investigators say John Hardy, 52, called the 3rd Precinct on Hillside Avenue in Williston Park on Wednesday claiming he was a terrorist.
Detectives say Hardy threatened to kill everyone inside of the precinct by planting a bomb inside. Officials say shortly after calling the precinct, Hardy called an emergency operator and said he left a bag of dynamite in the doorway of the precinct.
The building was searched, but police say they never found any explosives.
Hardy is now facing multiple charges including making a terroristic threat. He was arraigned and remains in custody.
