the guitar picks to the drumheads, D'Addario manufactures all different
instrument accessories, always trying to hit the right note when it comes to
its products.
Brian Vance has been with D'Addario for 22 years -- his love for music,
creativity, and science string perfectly together.
Getting right down to the wire, D'Addario manufactures high carbon and low
carbon steel wire for music strings. Strings for the electric, acoustic, bass
guitars, ukuleles, and banjos. They produce 800,000 strings a day.
The company designs, programs, and builds most of its production equipment in
Farmingdale. They distribute their products internationally.
The D'Addario Family has been making music strings for centuries. The family is
filled of artists and musicians.
The company is fine tuning, and are in the process of moving one of their
factories from California to New York -- bringing in 70 to 80 new jobs to the
area.
