A Wantagh street was renamed Sunday after the late 9/11 first responder who called it home.
Ewell Place was dedicated in memory of fallen NYPD Lt. Kenneth W. Rosello.
He died eight years ago after a battle with a 9/11-related illness.
His former NYPD partner Bill Tartaglia said Rosello was a devoted man who put others first, right up until the day he died.
"One thing about Kenny was he never complained through all of that treatment he went through. I think we worked until the day he passed away," Tartaglia said.
Rossello was with the NYPD 28 years. He is survived by his wife and two children.
