A Long Island woman has co-authored a book about her first responder husband who died responding to the attacks on the World Trade Center.

Mary Farino-Thomas and her cousin Robert Trotta hosted a book signing in Sayville on Saturday. The signing was for their book about Farino-Thomas's husband, Battalion Chief Thomas Farino, who perished with his unit at Engine 26.

The cousins wrote the book to preserve Chief Farino's memory and remind people to never forget.
