A Glen Cove recording studio that?s helped launch many careers is celebrating its 25th anniversary by opening its doors to aspiring musicians and singers.

Richie Canata is inviting anyone who wants to record an album into his Cove City Sound Studios on Aug. 1. Canata played sax with Billy Joel for years. Cove Sound Studio has seen the likes of Mariah Carey, Ashanti, Jennifer Lopez, Celine Dion, Taylor Dane and NSYNC over the years.

?It will be our way to give back to all those people who've supported us,? Canata says.

All would-be recording artists should bring their own guitars or brass instruments and must make an appointment.
