News 12 Long Island has learned that a 9/11 first responder from Long Island has died due to illness. Bellmore-Merrick EMS responder Kevin Kelly passed away from 9/11-related injuries and illness.

News 12 Long Island has learned that a 9/11 first responder from Long Island has died due to illness.
Bellmore-Merrick EMS responder Kevin Kelly passed away from 9/11-related injuries and illness.
Kelly was a husband and father of two children.
News 12 Long Island has learned Kelly was a first responder at Ground Zero and is credited with saving the life of an NYPD officer.
There will be a memorial service for Kelly at Sacred Heart Church in North Merrick tomorrow afternoon.
