Neighbors in Kings Park are coming together to help a family displaced by a fire.
Donations for the family are being collected at Kings Park Hardware.
The family, who has a newborn and a young child, lost all their belongings in a fire that broke out Saturday morning inside their home on Honeysuckle Lane.
“We have collected goods and clothing. Right now, we need gift cards to help the family,” explained co-organizer Bill Moser.
Items that are not needed by the family will be donated to a local church.
