Thousands of protesters flooded the streets of Mineola Saturday as part of the nationwide 'No Kings’ movement.

People marched from the Nassau County Courthouse to the County Legislature building in the driving rain, protesting the policies of President Donald Trump.

Several protesters told News 12 that recent ICE raids on Long Island, and across the country, made them want to attend to the rally.

Nassau County police set up barricades along Old Country Road to keep protesters and traffic separate. Police Commissioner Patrick Ryder said there were no incidents of violence at the event.
