A KeySpan worker at the Northport power plant was injured on the job Friday when he was hit with an ?electrical flash.?
The worker sustained burns to his forehead and the side of his face while working on a piece of equipment around 9:05 a.m.
The substation worker was sent to Stony Brook University Hospital, where he will be held overnight, according to KeySpan spokeswoman Diana Parisi. A second worker who was nearby was "shaken up" and sent to Huntington Hospital, but was released, Parisi said.
