A Suffolk high school student is facing federal charges after admitting he wanted to join al-Qaeda and wage a holy war.

Undercover investigators say 18-year-old Justin Kaliebe, of Babylon, attempted to align with radical terrorists in Yemen. The FBI arrested him at John F. Kennedy International Airport in January before he boarded a plane to Yemen.

In February, he pleaded guilty to providing material support to al-Qaeda.

Kaliebe will be sentenced in September and could face 30 years in prison.
