Officials: Violent crime on the decline in Connecticut

Police in Perth Amboy are investigating a jewelry store robbery in the city.

They say it happened around 3 p.m. Wednesday at the store on Madison Avenue. Multiple suspects were involved.

Police say that they did not show any weapons during the robbery. No one was hurt.

Police chased the getaway vehicle out of town, but did not make any arrests.
