Closing arguments ended Tuesday in the murder trial of a man accused of a mass shooting at a West Hempstead Stop & Shop.
Gabriel Wilson's fate is now in the hands of a jury who will continue deliberating on Wednesday.
Prosecutors say Wilson shot at five coworkers in 2021, killing manager Ray Wishropp and injuring two others.
Wishropp's uncle says he is confident that his loved one will get justice.
"I know good things come to those who wait," says Arthur Wishropp. "…I'm very happy to know we have a good system, and it works. I do believe that it will work for us."
If convicted on the top charge, Wilson faces 25 years to life in prison.
