Huntington man accused of spray painting swastika on Lee Zeldin campaign sign

Police say Vincent J. Mckie spray painted the sign with a swastika, the numbers 187 and the word "Gambino.”

Police say they have arrested a Huntington man for allegedly damaging a Lee Zeldin campaign sign.             
Police say Vincent J. Mckie spray painted the sign with a swastika, the numbers 187 and the word "Gambino.”
The sign was found at the corner of West Pulaski and Oakwood roads in Huntington Station Sunday morning. 
After an investigation, detectives arrested Mckie outside his home on Tuesday.   
Mckie, 41, was charged with aggravated harassment, a hate crime, and criminal mischief.
