Gov. Phil Murphy warned drivers Sunday to be cautious on the road's as a winter storm is bearing down on New Jersey.

Murphy says it's the busiest travel day of the year, and that officials are concerned about ice as children head back to school and people come and leave New Jersey after the Thanksgiving holiday.

Officials say there are 1,200 pieces of equipment have been prepared for when the storm comes in. They also say the roads were brined on Friday to make sure everything runs smoothly.

The brunt of the storm is coming Monday, and Murphy encouraged New Jersey residents to be vigilant.

Murphy says there will be an increased police presence Monday to handle any motor vehicle accidents.

Officials reminded residents that there is a "move over" law - meaning that cars need to pull over for plows and first responders on the road.
