16h agoA bag of cocaine was found on the floor during a search of a Melville restaurant Thursday evening, officials say.
It happened at Bijou Modern American Asian Restaurant following multiple complaints from the community. Suffolk County police, the fire marshal and the State Liquor Authority then searched the restaurant.
In addition to the drugs found, News 12 is told numerous building, fire and code violations were found.
The SLA says the restaurant was also illegally operating as a nightclub.
