Gov. Andrew Cuomo, joined by PGA professionals, announced today that the Bethpage Black Golf Course in Farmingdale will host the 2019 PGA and the 2024 Ryder Cup.
Bethpage Black's first big tournament was the 2002 U.S. Open, won by Tiger Woods.
It also held another U.S. Open in 2009 and The Barclays last year.
