Funding is on the way for several abortion providers on Long Island.

The first part of the Abortion Provider Support Fund will be in the amount of $10 million.

Sixty-three sites will receive funding, including Long Island Jewish Medical Center clinics and a Nassau health care corporation.

The second round of funding will award $15 million to other programs, including independent clinics.

The applications open next week.
