Free Players Drum Corps gears up to perform at Memorial Day parade in Farmingdale

The Free Players Drum Corps is gearing up to perform at the Memorial Day parade in Farmingdale.

"We really got to build up our band muscles for the upcoming parade," explained band member Rachel Jerome.

The special needs marching band will be sporting new uniforms, banners and color guard flags at Monday's event.

"Before we got the uniforms, everyone was dressed in black T-shirts. We now have uniforms, so it gives us a more professional look," says band director Chris Mitchell.

The Free Players Drum Corps has played at parades and stadiums in numerous cities across the country.
