A free barbecue event was held at St. Jerome's Community Center in the Bronx, serving up good eats for an even better cause.
The community center helps out immigrant families through education and skill development opportunities. The free event was coordinated in tandem with The Good Charcoal, a chemical-free charcoal brand.
"This is our third year of coming here, where we [help out] over 45,000 all over the country," said Janet Silverman, chief impact officer for The Good Charcoal.
