Franklin Square school dedicates bench to fallen NYPD Detective Jonathan Diller

The PTA says Jonathan Diller used to attend the elementary school and now his memory will be a part of it for years to come.

The Franklin Square School District is honoring the life of a fallen hero from their town.
The Parent Teacher Association of John Street School dedicated a memorial bench to NYPD Detective Jonathan Diller.
Diller was shot during a traffic stop in March and later died from his injury.
The PTA says he used to attend the elementary school and now his memory will be a part of it for years to come.
The bench will be placed by the school’s sensory playground and courtyard.
