A four-car crash on the Southern State Parkway has led to lane closures and more than one injury.

According to New York State Police, a four-car crash happened eastbound on the Southern State Parkway near Exit 40 at about 5:57 a.m. Tuesday.

Police said more than one person suffered minor injuries, but the exact number is not known.

The middle and right lanes eastbound on the parkway remain closed.
