A former security guard for Great Neck Public Schools has been arrested for allegedly having an arsenal of homemade explosives in his home.
Investigators say Angelo Hatziagelis and his brother Andrew also had a hit list with the names of police officers, judges, politicians and celebrities.
The Great Neck Public Schools Superintendent Kenneth Bossert says the security guard will no longer be serving the district.
He says the district contracts its security personnel through Arrow Security.
Bossert says the district reviewed all hiring practices and screening protocols with Arrow Security before hiring Hatziagelis.
