Officials have released a plan to reduce some of the noise from helicopters around the Hamptons. Residents have been complaining for years about noisy choppers landing at East Hampton Airport.

Officials have released a plan to reduce some of the noise from helicopters around the Hamptons.

Residents have been complaining for years about noisy choppers landing at East Hampton Airport.



East Hampton Town officials tell Newsday helicopters will use two different flights paths.



According to officials, the pilots will also be asked to fly above 3,500 feet to reduce noise.
