Fans of farm stands can still find a place on Long Island to buy local produce and jams.
"This year, we figured people are looking for something to do, they can't really go anywhere," says Ashley Schmitt. "So we'll give it a shot and see if we can extend the season some."
The farm has a heated and enclosed area where crops are still able to grow even in the cold weather.
Owners of the farm say they are still harvesting their own broccoli, kale and spinach.
They also sell items that they make from their produce like jellies and jams, horseradish, pickled beets and salad dressing.
