People in six apartments have been displaced after a fire at a Woodbury apartment complex early Tuesday.

Fire officials say several units at the Eagle Rock Apartments are uninhabitable right now.

Flames broke out around 1 a.m. on Fairhaven Boulevard.

One firefighter was taken to the hospital to be treated for injuries that are not considered life-threatening.

The Nassau Chief Fire Marshal says the fire may have been caused by an electrical issue.

He says the fire is not believed to be suspicious.
