An East End landscaping company will have to pay over $1 million for allegedly cheating its employees.
The New York state Labor Department says Dario's Landscaping did not pay overtime to 54 of its legal foreign workers for three years.
It says the company provided false records to division investigators to try to cover up the wage theft.
Now the company will have to pay $1.1 million in back pay, damages and penalties.
