The Montauk Branch of the LIRR was partially suspended due to downed power lines across the tracks.
The LIRR says the power lines were across the tracks east of Hampton Bays. PSEG crews were able to remove the downed lines.
The westbound 3:15 p.m. train from Montauk to Jamaica will be the first train to operate out of Montauk at 4:00 p.m. The MTA says customers can anticipate delays as service is restored fully.
