The Montauk branch of the LIRR is partially suspended due to downed power lines across the tracks.

The LIRR says the power lines are across the tracks east of Hampton Bays. The westbound 11:36 a.m. train from Montauk to Penn Station will be canceled upon arrival in Babylon. Customers can transfer at Babylon for service to Penn Station.

Going eastbound, the 12:14 p.m. Train from Jamaica to Montauk is operating 30-35 minutes late, and the train will be cancelled upon arriving in Hampton Bays.

The LIRR says that customers may want to consider using the Ronkonkoma Branch instead.
