A North Bellmore man pleaded guilty to the 2022 murder of his wife inside their home, according to the Nassau County district attorney.
Police say when they got to the house, they found Danielle Paruolo on the floor with a knife in her neck and stab wounds on her head and body. Her husband, 39-year-old Anthony Paruolo, was arrested the following day.
The district attorney says Danielle Paruolo wanted a divorce, which led to the stabbing.
Officials say the couple's 8-year-old son was in another room when it happened.
Anthony Paruolo is expected to be sentenced to 20 years to life in prison.
