Police say a man is wanted for scamming a Melville man out of $4,000.

Police say he pretended to be a bank representative and told the victim his account was compromised.

According to police, he went to the victim’s house and convinced him to hand over his debit card and pin.

Police are offering a cash reward to anyone who recognizes him.
