8h agoTwenty-four Connecticut State Police troopers from 135th Training Troop graduated Thursday.
The ceremony was held at Central Connecticut State University.
Officials say the graduates spent about six months training at the state police training academy.
The 24 members of this class include 19 men and five women.
Officials say some of the new troopers are former municipal police officers or correction officers, veterans,firefighters and EMTs.
The youngest member of the class is 21 years old, and the oldest is 40 years old.
