Congressman Lee Zeldin has announced he will not be running in the race for Chair of the Republican National Committee.

In a Tweet posted Wednesday morning, Zeldin wrote “I won’t be running for RNC Chair at this time with McDaniel’s re-election pre-baked by design, but that doesn’t mean she should even be running again.”

Zeldin went on to say he is committed to doing absolutely everything in his power to save the country with every ounce of his energy.
