A Brooklyn man was arrested after he allegedly used his car to ram a police vehicle in an effort to evade Suffolk police.

Investigators say that officers saw Carmine Galarza snorting heroin in a car at the Sunoco gas station on Motor Parkway in Islandia this morning.

As they approached his vehicle, Galarza allegedly backed into their vehicle and tried to escape.

He was caught and faces charges, including DWI.
