A car slammed into a tree early Sunday morning in Rocky Point.
The accident happened shortly after midnight on Rocky Point-Yaphank Road.
The driver, who has not been identified, was airlifted to the hospital. News 12 is told that the driver's injuries are not considered life-threatening.
Video from the scene shows the car was severely mangled after the crash.
The cause of the crash remains unclear.
