Thousands of dollars worth of merchandise was stolen from a West Babylon mom and pop store specializing in video games and movies.
Jennifer McMenimen, owner of Exclamation Movies and Games, says the store is missing a number of game consoles and her entire stock of Blu-ray discs. McMenimen believes the burglars were familiar with the store before they robbed her.
"It's like they knew where things were," she says. "They knew what they were doing."
McMenimen says the burglars entered the store by knocking out the air conditioner. Three other businesses in the area have been hit in a similar manner in the past month.
The store owner hopes insurance will cover the losses. She plans on installing an alarm system.
