Veronica Murphy, a teacher at North Babylon High School, says she wants every student to feel special on their prom day.
"Students who are in need can come and get dresses that they wear for prom," Murphy explains.
Three years ago, she started the Bulldog Boutique at the high school to help students struggling with prom expenses.
The boutique offers dozens of prom dresses, shoes, suits as well as other accessories.
"Prom season comes with a lot of expenses such as cars, dresses and suits. We can come to the boutique and grab whatever we need, it's a good thing," says high school senior Joel Maestre.
The Bulldog Boutique plans to hold a reception open house for students leading up to prom season.
