Bellone: 7 pediatric cases of syndrome believed to be connected to COVID-19 in Suffolk

Suffolk County Executive Steve Bellone provided his Tuesday COVID-19 update with numbers on a syndrome believed to be connected to the coronavirus.

- Death toll rises by 15 to 1,654.
- Monday hospitalization numbers: Decrease in hospitalizations by 15 - total of 575. First time below 600 since end of March.
- Decline in ICU bed patients by 6 - 216 total. (May 10 numbers)
- Hospital capacity: 70% level (1 of 7 metrics needed to reopen)
- ICU bed capacity: 66%.

- Free Rite Aid testing for those 18+ in Shirley and Selden locations - must pre-register.
