The driver of a work truck was flown to a hospital after crashing into a building in Hunterdon County.

The crash took place just after 11 a.m. Thursday at the end of Main Street in Glen Gardner, according to the Glen Gardner Fire Company.

When emergency crews arrived, they found the truck in the corner of the building with the driver still inside. Crews were able to remove the driver within three minutes, firefighters said. The driver was then transported by EMS crews to a landing site and flown to a nearby hospital.

"Crews from Hunterdon County USAR secured the structure temporarily until more permanent repairs are made." firefighters said in a statement on social media.

The crash remains under investigation.
