Teen bicyclist dies after being run over by truck in Miller Place

A 14-year-old boy who was critically injured during a crash over a month ago in Miller Place has died, according to authorities.
Police say Andrew Salgado was riding his bike when he crashed into a truck making a left turn near Route 25A on March 24.
He fell off the bike and was then run over by the truck. The driver stopped at the scene and called 911.
Salgado was taken to Stony Brook University Hospital for treatment.
The Suffolk County Police Department confirmed on Friday that the Miller Place teen succumbed to his injuries.
