News 12 New Jersey’s Brittany Mill was honored at the Gracie Awards on Tuesday.

The award recognizes the best programming created by women in media.

Miller won the award for Best Interview Feature for a piece she wrote called “My Mom, the Senator.” It is about Miller’s mother who is Connecticut state Sen. Patricia Billie Miller.
