There are two new human cases of West Nile Virus in Suffolk County.

The county health department says two people over 50 years old, one in the Town of Babylon and the other in the Town of Huntington, experienced West Nile symptoms last month.

The Huntington resident is recovering at a rehab facility.

The Babylon resident is recovering at home.

This marks three human cases of the virus in Suffolk County this year.
