The westbound Long Island Expressway was briefly closed earlier due to an accident.

Police say the incident involved two cars that collided on the westbound side near exit 37 in Roslyn .

Only the middle lane was open at the time, but the LIE has since reopened.

Cops tell News 12 no one was seriously injured.
