Police say a man was killed in a crash in Old Westbury Saturday.

Nassau police say a Nissan Maxima was headed east on the Long Island Expressway south service road when the vehicle struck a curb on Store Hill Road. The car traveled for another 40 feet before it collided with a tree.

The 24-year-old male driver was hospitalized in critical condition. The passenger, German Enrique Molina, also 24, of Mineola, was killed.

Police say no criminality is suspected. The vehicle was impounded for safety checks.
