A man is facing charges after an alleged burglary on Shelter Island.

Police say 73-year-old Bruce Hopke was found with multiple items that had been reported stolen from a home.

He was arrested Thursday night, according to authorities.

Hopke is charged with burglary and criminal possession of stolen property.
