Two separate car fires were reported in Suffolk County on Sunday.
In Commack, firefighters responded to a vehicle fire at a gas station at Jericho Turnpike and Elwood Road. The Commack Fire Department says crews were able to stop the flames from spreading.
In Wyandanch, another fire spread to at least two vehicles in a driveway on Lake Drive.Suffolk fire officials say crews responded just after 5:30 a.m. No injuries were reported. The cause of the Wyandanch fire is under investigation.
