The tension between the NYPD and Mayor Bill de Blasio has been undeniable for the past few weeks.
Officers have been using public engagements to express their disapproval.
Most recently, hundreds of police officers turned their backs outside of the funeral home when the mayor spoke at Detective Wenjian Liu's service.
In an effort to mend the situation, the mayor met with the heads of various police unions last week.
News 12 asked Bronx residents whether they are concerned about the discord between the NYPD and the mayor.
