Winners decided in 11 village elections across Long Island
Elections have now wrapped up for 11 villages across Long Island.
In the Village of Roslyn Estates, Paul Peters won the race for mayor with 250 votes.
In Islandia, Incumbent Trustees Patricia Peters, Raymond Bush and Victor Montanez all swept the race.
In Head of the Harbor Village, Incumbents Daniel White and Jeffrey Fischer retained their seats over challenger Lisa Davidson.
In Amityville, Incumbent Joseph Calabrese defeated Peter Collorafi for the remaining two years of the four-year term of Debra Urbano-DiSalvo, who stepped down last fall. Michael O’Neill and Roger Smith ran unopposed for two village trustee seats.
Meanwhile in Malverne, Timothy Sullivan, a trustee, defeated Perry Cuocci, the deputy mayor, for the mayoral seat.
In the Village of Plandome Heights, Daniel Cataldo won the trustee seat with 76 votes, along with Gus Panopoulos and Norman Taylor.
Over in Stewart Manor, William Grogan and Peter Healy won the seats of trustees.
In the Village of Hempstead, Jeffrey J. Daniels won the deputy mayor seat and Noah Burroughs won the trustee seat. Both ran under the Hempstead Now! Party.
In Bellerose Village, Kenneth Moore won the mayor seat with Daniel Driscoll and Joseph Juliano winning for trustee. Brendan Sweeney won the seat for Village Justice.
In the Village of Garden City, Mary Carter Flanagan won the seat for mayor. Meanwhile, Edward T. Finneran, Michele Harrington and Bruce J. Chester won trustee seats.
In the Village of Greenport, Kevin Stuessi won the seat for mayor, and Patrick Brennan and Lily Dougherty-Johnson won trustee seats.
